Can You Skip Service Fee If Buy Ticket At Njpac Box
Tin can you avoid Ticketmaster 25% "service fee" if you buy at local box function?
Specifically I want to buy a $65 ticket for a bear witness at Municipal. Afterwards the ticketmaster fee its like $96.
Does Municipal take a box function where I can physically buy tickets and avert this abortion of a fee? Its robbery.

People been complaining nearly this since the 1980s. How are these fees still around?

The venue gets a chunk of the 'fee' so information technology'southward in their interest to non sell them at their box office.

The fees are still around cause we go on opening our wallets.

Nope. you can't even avert ticketmaster online queues at the box office anymore.
All going to the box office nets you these days is venue ticket stubs instead of ticketmaster generic ones.

615-862-6390 ext 222 for box office director. Usually, you but pay a facility fee at these types of venues when going through their box office.

I've purchased GA for Metallica and Slayer in the by 2 weeks... they've got a big chunk of service fees from me.

I bought tickets for Bill Burr two weeks agone specifically to avert Ticketmaster fees.
The rep at the box office said I avoided the 'Online Fee,' only I all the same needed to pay a Ticketmaster 'Handling Fee.'
Of course, I came to Ryman to handle my own tickets, but you know...

UPDATE: I went to Municipal today to purchase tickets. Slayer tickets were $66 on ticketmaster, merely similar $97 afterwards ticketmaster fees. Box part was selling them for $69.50 with no other fees.
Primus tickets are $33 with $twenty in fees on ticketmaster. Box office sold them to me for I think $36.50.
So I got one Primus and i Slayer ticket in person at the box office for almost the price as one Slayer ticket using ticketmaster, a savings of well-nigh $50.

You have to travel to the venue to do so and wait in line. Ticketmaster needs competition to drive downward the prices. Their fees are only in place because people are dependent on them. I would create Nosebleed that just takes out the nosebleed section and cuts the fee to $5. Someone is making too much money on this and I am surprised in that location isn't whatever contest or someone hasn't complained to the FTC about it being a monopoly.

I did. Went to voicemail, no one called me back.
